Welcome to my nifty little nook located in the blogging sector of the internet universe.

I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember and my parents were grateful for the many edutainment games available while I was young. Who could argue when your child is asking to play JumpStart: Reading?

I often fall into discussion on what, in my own opinion, makes a good game. I grew up playing video games (Diablo II, UT2004: GOTYE, Halo 2, Mario Kart, Lego Star Wars, Mortal Kombat to name a few) with my family. Believe me when I say there's nothing quite so satisfying as sniping your little brother after a heated argument that took place moments before a match.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not the most advanced gamer, but my passion for games doesn't stop me.

But how do we go about trying to determine which games are actually worth trying, let alone purchasing? The only true way to find out what games we will enjoy is if we try them out for ourselves. So play on, Players. Play on.
